For a new machine, bring the job the component has to do
For a machine under development, the discussion can start with its layout. Mark the motion you are designing, the component position and the space around it. A rough drawing is welcome while the design is still open.
Add the following to your meeting notes where the values are known:
- Hydraulic motor: torque (N·m), speed (rpm), available flow and pressure, shaft and flange drawing.
- Hydraulic pump: flow (L/min), working pressure, drive speed, control arrangement and circuit sketch.
Leave undecided entries marked “to be confirmed”. We can discuss the missing information at the stand and use the drawing to keep the conversation tied to your machine. Ask which product family is worth examining further and what BLINCE needs next to review the inquiry.
For a replacement, bring the details you already have
Put together a small reference packet for the part you want to replace:
- A readable label photograph, with the complete model code and suffixes.
- Views of the shaft, flange and ports, plus an existing drawing if available.
- The reason for the order: spare-part supply, a supplier review or a machine modification.
Keep any unanswered questions with that packet. Dimensions and operating requirements still need checking against the proposed part; we can use the meeting to establish which details are available and which need follow-up.
For a supply discussion, bring a short list
Bring the lines you want to source first: product family, model reference and expected quantity. Mark any repeat orders separately from a one-off machine project. For a distribution inquiry, add a note on your market and the equipment your customers buy parts for.
A hose and fitting list can include sizes, lengths and the two end connections. Where an old assembly needs identifying, bring a full-length photograph as well as close-ups of the ends. Keep unidentified connections marked on the list for discussion.
